Golden Dragon Restaurant 2012 |
Fine Dining at Dragon Club |
| With a name like Dragon Club, how could our flagship restaurant serve anything other than traditional Chinese fare. To the Chinese, 'Ching Lung' or the Golden Dragon is the supreme being of all creatures, symbolizing power, dignity, goodness and the ability to ward off evil spirits. |
Why 2012? |
| In 2012, it will again be the Chinese Year of the Dragon (last seen during the Sydney Olympics). An amazing year, 2012 will include the London Olympics, the next peak in Solar flares and a one in sixty-thousand year galactic alignment. The 2012 Year of the Dragon is also attached to the Chinese elemental sign Water, making it more specifically the year of the Water Dragon. Water Dragon's (Physignathus lesueuril) are common in New South Wales and are a distant relative of our club's mascot the Komodo Dragon. You can see that we have plenty of reason to celebrate both the Dragon and the lead up to 2012, an Olympic Games that could once again include Golf - we can only hope the IOC endorses it as one of the two introduced sports for the 2012 Games. Come dine with us and celebrate the lead up to 2012 as we move from Beijing 2008 to London 2012 and enjoy some of China's culinary delights. |
